Privacy

filmi.ai is a free guide to Indian films and series: critics’ scores, age guidance for parents, and where to watch. You can read all of it without an account.

Analytics by Plausible, a privacy-focused service: page, referrer, country, browser and device type, no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profile. We keep a copy of the same events on our own infrastructure (Cloudflare) for the same purpose. We also run Ahrefs Web Analytics, which works the same way: no cookies, no personal profile.

Cloudflare, which serves the site, sees your IP address as any web host does and may show a short automated check to traffic that looks like a bot. We set no advertising cookies and run no ad networks.

If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else; we don’t see your password or anything in your Google account. If you sign in by email, we store the address.

We use these to run your account: to show your name and picture beside what you post, to send the sign-in link or the weekly email you asked for, and to contact you about your account. We also keep a note of how your browser first found the site (source, campaign, the ad keyword if one carried you, the page you landed on) and which pages you visit while signed in, to understand what brings people here and what they use.

Google user data is used only for these purposes, is never sold, and is never used for advertising; we comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Accounts live in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase (US), with row-level security so one account cannot read another’s rows. Email is sent through Resend. The site and its analytics copy are served by Cloudflare. None of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Reviews, ratings, age picks, lists and notes you post are public under your display name and handle. Your email address never appears on the site.

We keep account data while the account exists. Write to hello@filmi.ai to delete your account; we remove the account, its email and everything posted under it within seven days, and the analytics copy holds nothing that identifies you after that.

You can revoke Google’s connection to filmi.ai at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The site is written for adults choosing films for their families. We don’t knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13.

We’ll update this page when what we collect changes, with the date. Questions: hello@filmi.ai; a person reads it.

The rest of the small print is in the terms.
