filmi.ai is free to read. You may link to anything on it, quote it with attribution, and share it. You may not scrape it wholesale or republish it as your own dataset — the scores are derived by us, one review at a time, and the corpus behind them is the work.
Everything here is judgement, not fact: a Filmi Score is our reading of published reviews, and an age rating is our reading of a censorship record and what reviewers documented. We have not watched these films. Use it to decide what to watch, not as a safety guarantee for a child.
If you sign in and post a review, a rating, an age pick or a note, it is public, under your display name and handle, and you are responsible for it. Don’t post someone else’s writing as your own, and don’t post anything about a real person you couldn’t defend.
We may read a written review under the same rubric we use for critics and show that reading beside it, labelled as ours. We may remove anything that is spam, abusive, or not a review — and we take reports on every public item.
You keep the rights to what you write. Posting it here gives us permission to show it on the site and in the weekly email, alongside our reading of it. Ask us and we’ll delete your account and everything on it: hello@filmi.ai.
Every review we read is credited, dated and linked back to where it was published, and every derived score is labelled as ours — never as something you said. If you’d rather we didn’t derive one, one line to critics@filmi.ai is enough and is honoured within a week.
If a reading of yours is wrong, claim your page and say so on the row. An upheld misread is re-read from scratch, and the record of the correction stays public.
If you give us an email address — to sign in, for the weekly email, or for an availability alert — we store it to do that thing and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. Sign-in is a one-time link by email; there is no password to lose.
Analytics are Plausible: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profile, nothing sold. That is why there is no cookie banner to click.
Accounts live in a hosted Postgres database with row-level security, so one account cannot read another’s rows. What you post publicly is public; your email address never appears on the site and never leaves the database.
Film data and posters come from TMDB; streaming availability from JustWatch. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Box-office figures are sourced and dated on the page, and are whatever the tracker published — studios do not confirm them.
If filmi.ai ever earns money from a link, that link will say so, and it will look identical on every film. Nothing paid will ever move a score, a ranking, or what gets surfaced.
